Founded in October, 2002, Shandong Tianyi Chemicals Co., Ltd. is the core subsidiary of Shandong Institute of Ocean Chemical Scientific Research. Located in Binhai economic development zone (the developing, manufacturing and trading centre of bromine and bromide products of China), Weifang, Shandong, China, Tianyi is the Hi-tech enterprise of Shandong province and key supported technical medium-small enterprise of Shandong province. As an I/E licensed, ISO Quality System and Career Security system approved company, we now has 500 employees, 55 of them are technicians, and 22 are senior engineers.
At present, Tianyi is a specialized researcher, developer, manufacturer and trader of bromine-grouping fire retardants, pharmaceutical intermediate, pesticide intermediate, surfactant and oil field chemicals; we are very skilled in the development of bromine-grouping fine chemicals. At present, we can annually produce 30,000 tons of bromine-grouping chemicals, including Tetrabromobisphenol A (TBBA), Decabromodiphenyl Ethane(DBDPE), Decabromodiphenyl Oxide(DBDPO), bromopropane, tribromophenol, Brominated Polystyrene, benzyl bromide, bromobenzene, Manganese dibromide, hydrobromic acid, and, so on.
Our products now are well sold in EU and Southeast Asia. Our main products-bromine-grouping fire retardant, organic synthetic intermediate and industrial detergent has become very popular and famous for excellent and reliable products. Our inorganic bromide has got several international bids for excellent performance-price ratio. Our industrial detergent products are well sold in USA and EU, and become the inspection-exempt products of these customers. Our bromine-grouping organic synthetic intermediate, modified auxiliaries and catalyst has filled the blanks of Chinese market, they are developed for defense industry, new material industry and petrochemical industry of China. They have solved the technical problems of functional material, and have been highly appraised by Chinese ministries and transnational companies.
